There are a few websites that permit a Francophone that wants to learn English to be paired up with an Anglophone that wants to learn French. Using a service that you agree upon together, such as Skype for spoken communication or e-mail for written communication, you will be able to practice your speaking skills and your writing skills using these free services.
Please note that these services are not affiliated with your college and they are open to anyone on the Internet. As such, it is possible that you will run into someone that is more interested in dating (or some other ulterior motive) than improving their French. Be aware of this possibility and find a different person if you suspect your conversation exchange partner has motives other than improving their language. |

I've used this site with my regular session students in Cégep with a great deal of success. Students reported that it was easy to find a language partner. |

My students haven't used this site, yet. However, it appears similar to Conversation Exchange. If you use the site, please let me know how it goes. |

This looks like a very serious site because the administration "filters" users before pairing them up with someone. If you use the site, please let me know how it goes. |
