This is a list of media websites that Jamie has verified and recommends. This particular list focuses on documentary style media:
- Al Jazeera English on YouTube or Al Jazeera- this media offers a lot of very interesting journalistic pieces including news, current affairs and documentaries. This agency is reputed for offering both sides of the story, so there is a good chance of finding polemic material here.
- PBS Frontline - this website provides copies of the documentary television series. Very professional. Most of the videos appear to have transcripts. Students are recommended to read the transcript first and then listen to the video. Do not try to do both at the same time.
- Matter of Fact - this YouTube channel discusses many of the topics seen in Cegep Block "A" courses.
