This website's main objective is to provide "Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world". Many of the videos include "interactive text" which not only provides a transcript of what is being said, it also allows students to jump to specific portions of the speech. Textual comments and post-video conversation follow the videos.
TED is great because it provides listeners with transcripts of everything that is being said in both English and French! I do not recommend reading the text while you are listening. Pedagogical studies have shown that this does not work. Instead, you should read the transcript in French first to put yourself in context, then read the English version of the text, and then watch the show. Have a dictionary close by so that you can look up unfamiliar words.
