Argumentative / Polemic on a personal level: what I mean here by "personal" is that these topics might be less academic in nature and require less research. They'll still require student research, just less. Download this .PDF file. There are so many choices here that there is surely something here that will please everyone. |

Argumentative / Polemic: the site states that it lists possible arguments for one side next to possible arguments against. These arguments aren’t created by one person, but by like-minded individuals collaborating to form the strongest case. This allows people both to easily compare the pros and cons and also to come to a decision safe in the knowledge they have the best information to hand. There are a few things that I like about this site: the range of topics is impressive and some of the footwork has already been done. Teachers can easily create flashcards for groups of people with some ideas to get the creative juices flowing. |
