Here are some activities that students can do. Some are designed for in-class, others distance education, and still others for both scenarios:
- Jouer à Never have I ever (à l'eau ou au jus évidemment)
- Faire un Show and Tell de vidéos Youtube bizarres/drôles à chaque séance
- Jouer au bonhomme pendu (not sure how that would go, but there's gotta be an app or website that does that)
- Faire un Show and Tell de blagues
- Faire un Show and Tell d'objets bizarres que les gens ont à la maison.
- Organiser des Freaky (fill in the day of the week you class is happening) où les étudiants doivent porter un accessoire vestimentaire loufoque (chapeau, chandail, lunettes, bijou)
- A dictogloss activity - Dictogloss is a language teaching technique that is used to teach grammatical structures, in which students form small groups and summarize a target-language text. First, the teacher prepares a text that contains examples of the grammatical form to be studied (Wikipedia).

There are many different activities that can be integrated into a lecture-based course to encourage the students to engage with the subject material, to facilitate interaction among the students and between the students and the professor, and to revitalize the course by providing a change of pace. |
